INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Department of social sciences along with    department of management and women studies organized International conference on women in 21^st century: challenges and opportunities on 9^th and 10^th Feb  successfully .  On the first day  we also had  Mrs . K. Sunitha  IAS  Secretary ,Dept of  Women & Child welfare, Govt . of A.P  as  a chief guest for inaugural session . We also  had  Prof. K.V.Rao Former Vice- chancellor , Acharya Nagarjuna University  ,Krishna university and Vikram Simhapuri University  along with her on stage .   professor K.Suresh  Department of Management , College of Business and Economics, Ollo university , Ollo  ,Ethiopia gave the key note address . All the   speakers  shared  there  ideas on the importance of women  empowerment  and discussed various women issues  .  On 10^th February   we had Hon’ble  Sri justice A.Ramalingeswara Rao,   garu    judge high court as the  chief guest for valedictory . We also had  Dr. K.Srinivasa Rao Assistant Professor in Commerce , Osmania University, Dr. D . RAGHAVA Professor , Department of Management College of Business and  Economics ,olla  University , olla Ethiopia , Prof .P . NIRMALA DEVI  Former professor in Psychology, Andhra University  Vizag  Prof . G. PRASAD Principal &Registrar (Retd ) Acharya Nagarjuna University , Nagajuna nagar ,Guntur along with him on stage .  we received 300 papers for the publication .

Dr. Sr. Meritta D’mello PG. directness ,Associate professor in psychology was the patron of the event . she also presented  a paper on ‘Women Education :status ,position and Dignity of women in India “

Dr. P.Ratna Mary  head of the department of social sciences, Associate   professor in Economics was the organizing secretary   she  also  presented  a paper on” The  status of Indian women Yesterday ,today and tomorrow  .

Mrs. R.Chittemma Assistant Professor in political science presented a paper on “Women education –paving way for development “ .

 Miss Y.sailaja Assistant professor in political science presented  a paper on” Economic empowerment of Women : women first ,prosperity for all “
