EXTENSION ACTIVITIES

1Extension activity-resource person

Mrs. D.Brahmeswari, Head of the Department of Social Sciences was invited as a resource person to the Maris Stella College, Vijayawada, to give a talk to the students of social sciences. On 28^th June 2017 Mrs. Brahmeswari spoke on the importance of study of history in the first session. In the second session Mrs. Brahmeswari spoke on the impact of Buddhism through generations and the relevance of principles of Buddhism for the present generation. Dr.Mrs. Beula, Head of the department of History, Mrs. Sridevi, lecturer, Dr. Sri Rao and other department members along with 500 students participated in the programme.

Vibrations – A workshop on talent search   :

          On 3^rd August Mrs. D. Brahmeswari attended a workshop on “Vibrations on Honing of talents “in Sir. C.R .Reddy   autonomous college, Eluru along with Mrs. Neeraja, lecturer in Nutrition and ten student representatives.

Community Extension Activity

          On 3^rd August Mrs. D.Brahmeswari gave a talk on spirit of Nationalism and the present responsibilities of educated elite in the lion’s club auditorium the target group being the members of Lions Club of Helapurir .

 Community Extension-literary Activity

On 5^th august Mrs.D.Brahmeswari took part in the Ashtavadhanam of Smt. Dr. Bulusu Annapurna in the veda pathasala conducted by Garikapati art theatre, Eluru.

 Campus extension

On 24^th August 2016 Women cell inauguration was conducted and Mrs. Brahmeswari was invited as guest of honor and spoke on the aspect of women empowerment. Miss Vijaya Ratna Kumari and Miss Surekha were members of Women Empowerment cell during 2016-17.

 On 27^th August Mrs. D.Brahmeswari Head of the Department gave a talk in Women Empowerment cell on the Equity and Equality of Women in the present society on the occasion of national equity day celebrations

Community extension

Mrs Brahmeswari conducted a session on social orientation of youth in the youth workshop  on Life skills education camp  on 7-9-2016 conducted by the Prajapitha Brahma Kumari Eswariya Vidyalaya along with the central Government. The target group are students from different colleges

SKSD COLLEGE 

on 10^th September  Mrs.D.Brahmeswari conducted a session on  “human Excellences  conducted by Sai Sathya sai seva organizations in SKSD Mahila Kalasala,Tanuku, west Godavari .district

Community extension –ROTARY CLUB 

On 13^th September Mrs.D. Brahmeswari   gave a talk on  new educational policy system in the speeker meet of the Rotary Club of Eluru presided over by Sri Muralidhar President. The target group of Rotarians of Eluru. She spoke on the educational system of India, drawbacks and the suggestions and remedies proposed in the new education policy of 2016. The meeting came to an end by the vote of thanks proposed by Gutta Saibabu, Secretary of the club.

Community extension on world Heart day

On 29^th September Mrs. D.Brahmeswari attended chief guest on the occasions of world Heart Day   programme gave a talk on “Life style Modifications for a healthy heart “ in Asram medical college ,Eluru

Community Extension

The students of Social work conducted one day programme in the Government Boy’s children home (Juvenile home), Sanivarapu peta on the occasion of Children’s Week Celebrations on 17-11-2016. Mrs.D.Brahmeswari, Ms.K.Naga mani. Sr. Anitha and  Ms.S. Surekha participated in the programme and extended their support to the students of Social Work department.
