Knowledge extension programme    2017-2018            
  Knowledge extension programme was staged by III B.Com Computers on 14th December 2017 under the guidance of Dr.Mrs.P.Ratna Mary, Head, Department of Social Sciences with the title Skill India.

               Skill India programme is a prestigious programme introduced by  our Prime Minister Sri.Narendra Modi. The main objective of this project is to train youth either along with regular education or separately for uneducated youth in employable skills. All those who finish education like graduation or post graduation can secure job. Or the government cannot   offer jobs to all graduates or post graduates. So the  government has introduced  this programme so that all youth receive training and find their own employment. Some of them can also become entrepreneurs and create employment to others. This programme ultimately boosts national economy. 




Knowledge extension programme

 The students of third B.A HEP EM and EPSW presented on Graphology  , a new subject of academic of their interest , under the guidance of their ward tutor  Miss K.Nagamani lecturer in Economics . Graphology is a science of analyzing the emotions and interested qualities of a present  created an awareness about the subject and shered the need of the knowledge for the present generation .  on 18 august 2017 .

Topic –E-GOVERNANCE CLASS-lll B.A HEP (TM)&THP

                        E-Governance is being used in every part of administration these days .it is linking the people with the Government. All areas and activities of the Government are coming to the doorsteps of the people with the technological development. Hence, the students get an all-around, comprehensive idea about the importance and usefulness of E-Governance by this extension programme. The staff and students of the college were given the awareness  about the E-Governance  schemes of  Government  of India .the programme created an awareness about different aspects of E-Governance.

Topic-Lok Adalat    Class-III B.A(H.E.P -E.M & EPSW)
   Under the guidance of Mrs.R.Chittemma Lecturer In Political Science
Lok Adalat is systems of alternative dispute resolution developed in India vide legal services Authorities Act, 1987. It roughly means “people’s Court”. Lok stands for the people and the term “Adalat” means court. India had a long history of resolving disputes through the mediation of village elders. The system of Lok Adalat is based on the principles of the Panch Parmeshwar of Gram Panchayts which were also proposed by Mahatma Gandhi. The idea of Lok Adalat was mainly advocated by Justice P.N.Bhagavati, a former chief justice of India. In the year 1976, article 39-class-A is added/attached to the Indian constitution, and it was decided as the responsibility of the State government to provide legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of the society.

Yoga extension programme
21-08-2015

Under the auspicious of the department of Social Sciences the ward students of III BA HEP telugu medium under the guidance of  Miss Vijaya Ratna Kumari, Lecturer in History conducted a campus extension programme on 21st August 2015. The students discussed about the importance of YOGA and its relevance in the present day situations. They explained in detail different postures and asanas useful for the healthy life style of the people. The campus extension was appreciated by the staff and students of the college. Mrs. Ume Salma, senior lecturer in Hindi responded and shared her experiences. Sister Principal congratulated Miss Vijaya Ratna Kumari for the efforts taken in training the students.
