Alluri Sitarama Raju Birth Day

                                              The Department of Social Sciences celebrated  the  birth anniversary of Alluri Sitarama Raju, one of the foremost freedom fighters who fought against the great British  empire. The program was organized to inspire the young students by giving their life history of great national leaders and to infuse patriotism. Dr.P.Ratna Mary gave an introduction and welcomed the gathering. Dr.Rev.Sr.Marietta D’Mello garlanded the portrait of Alluri Sitarama Raju and paid tribute to him. A video showing the life history  of the leader Alluri Sitharama Raju was played and explained various important events in his life. BA students Shrmila, Bhargavi, Nireesha gave their response who pledged  to emulate the example  of  the leader.
